Kelp Auto Smelter and Crafter (Improved)
User Description
An improvement on the design in the video, just a few small changes so didn't get around to recording a new one.
Updated to a version that works with extremely slow farms as well - there was a requirement for the farms to have a certain output rate.
What it does
- Collects items from a kelp farm (not included)
- Funnels into a smoker
- Dried kelp is split between storage and an autocrafter that keeps the smoker supplied with fuel
- Works with even slow farms, keeping the perfect amount of dried kelp blocks ready for smelting
- Excess kelp blocks are crafted and stored separately.
The video only explains the autocrafting with no additional storage.
To get it started
- Keep a dried kelp block loaded in the crafter
The farm should be self-sustaining after that

How to Use This Schematic
To use this schematic in your Minecraft world, you will need the Litematica mod installed on Minecraft Java Edition.
- Install Litematica using Fabric or Forge.
- Place the .litematic file inside your schematics folder.
- Launch Minecraft and open the Litematica menu.
- Load the schematic and position it in your world.
- Begin placing blocks following the preview overlay.
