This Privacy Policy explains what information donut.build collects, how we use it, and what choices you have when you use the site.
donut.build is a website for discovering, sharing, and downloading Minecraft schematics and build files. Because the site may include user uploads, analytics, cookies, and advertising, we want to explain our data practices in plain English.
We may collect information you give us directly, including:
We may also collect information automatically when you use the site, including:
We may use collected information to:
donut.build and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, prevent fraud, deliver ads, and improve the site.
We may also use analytics providers to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics data can include page views, device information, referral sources, and interactions with site features.
Advertising partners may use these technologies to collect or receive identifiers, IP address, general location, browser and device information, the page or content viewed, privacy choices, and information about ad views, clicks, or other interactions. They may combine this information with information from other websites or services to select, deliver, and measure contextual or personalized ads.
Where required by law, advertising cookies and personalized advertising are used based on your consent. Certain limited processing may also be necessary to provide the service, prevent fraud, maintain security, record privacy choices, or pursue other legitimate interests. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie or privacy settings shown on the site. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
For visitors in the EU/EEA and other regions where consent is required, Nitro provides an IAB-registered consent management platform (CMP). The CMP asks for and records your advertising choices and shares the resulting consent or preference signals with participating advertising partners so they can honor those choices. You can reopen the CMP and change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Update cookie preferences or similar consent-management link in the site's Legal footer. The link is shown only where Nitro's CMP is available.
donut.build uses Nitro (also known as NitroPay), an advertising platform owned and operated by Overwolf Ltd., to deliver and measure advertising. Nitro and its advertising partners may process the advertising and device information described above to provide contextual ads and, where permitted, personalized or interest-based ads; measure performance; create aggregate reports; manage consent and privacy preferences; detect fraud; and maintain the security of their services.
For signed-in users with a verified email address, donut.build may provide the normalized email address to Nitro for advertising matching. Nitro states that it does not store email addresses supplied through this function and instead converts them into advertising tokens that it passes to participating identity vendors and bidding partners. This information is used only where permitted by applicable law and your advertising consent or privacy choices.
For more information about Nitro's data practices, advertising partners, international data transfers, retention practices, and privacy choices, review the Nitro Privacy Policy.
Nitro may share identifiers, privacy preferences, and advertising interaction data with advertisers, ad exchanges, measurement providers, fraud-prevention providers, and other vendors involved in delivering and measuring ads. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, using or disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral or interest-based advertising may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged for the information.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect donut.build and the information we process. These measures can include access controls, logging, monitoring, rate limiting, and service-provider security features.
No website, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. Because of that, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Files, screenshots, descriptions, usernames, comments, and similar content submitted by users may be visible to other visitors. Please do not upload personal information you do not want to make public.
Uploaded content may be stored, cached, indexed, moderated, reviewed after a report, or removed if it violates our rules, receives a valid takedown request, or creates legal or safety concerns.
Visitors and rights holders can report abusive, unsafe, infringing, or misleading content by emailing [email protected].
We may review reports, preserve related records, and use submitted information to investigate and respond.
We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the site, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and maintain security.
Different types of data may be kept for different periods. For example, public uploads may remain available until removed, while logs and support messages may be retained for operational or legal reasons.
We may rely on third-party services to help run donut.build, including services for:
These providers may process information on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy policies.
You can use the cookie or privacy settings shown on the site to review or change available advertising choices. Depending on your location, you may also opt out of some interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance, the Network Advertising Initiative, or Your Online Choices. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising; you may continue to receive contextual ads.
If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies to you, you may have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have rights to know or access the personal information collected about them, request correction or deletion, receive a portable copy, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
Where required, a Do Not Sell My Personal Information link is made available in the site's Legal footer. You may also use a browser or extension that sends a legally recognized opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control. To submit a privacy request directly to donut.build, email [email protected]. To exercise rights concerning information controlled by Nitro/Overwolf, follow the instructions in the Nitro Privacy Policy or contact [email protected]. We may need to verify a request before fulfilling it, and legal exceptions may apply.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page.
For privacy questions, support requests, abuse reports, or copyright concerns, email [email protected].
